Established in 1983, our annual Mammoth Car Boot Sale has for many years been one of the largest of its kind in Southern England.
The event is held on August Bank Holiday Monday by kind permission of our Honorary Member the Earl of Pembroke in the beautiful grounds of the Wilton House Estate.
The car boot sale regularly attracts over 4,500 buyers and the Sellers Area covered over 300 pitches.
The Wilton Wake Up is in aid of Stars Appeal Charity and the Rotary Club of Wilton.
Wake Ups give car enthusiasts the opportunity to display their own wheels, look at other cars and talk to fellow petrol heads. The events are held once a month from April to August. Gates open at 8am when full English breakfasts, bacon butties, hot tea and coffee will be available to buy in the Café until 10.30am.
The Stars Appeal Walk For Wards is traditionally one of the largest fundraising events in our area and last year the event attracted over 2,000 walkers and raised over £150,000 for Salisbury District Hospital’s charity.
We are proud to have been marshalling the event since its inception 15 years ago.
For many years, in December, we have served mulled wine to the congregation at the ceremony to switch on the lights that the Club bought for the town’s Christmas Tree.
We also arrange for Santa Claus to visit Wilton on his sleigh. And also help transport hundreds of elderly Wilton residents to a local pantomime.
